State Planning Office - Coastal Program
The Maine Coastal Program works to sustain Maine's coastal resources and maritime economy. Established in 1978 and administered through the Maine State Planning Office, the Coastal Program is a partnership among local, regional, and state agencies. It also collaborates with many private organizations, such as local land trusts and economic development groups to implement its mission.
